The Local and Global Scope of the Church

When God looks at the church what does He


see?

There are really only two subsets on the earth


The church is the believers the sheep
The world is non-believers the goats
(Matt. 25:32-33)

John 3:16 For God so loved the world. So should


we.

He never intended that the world should come to the


church to find Him.
John 3:17 for God did not SEND His son into the
world to condemn the world

The commission to us is the same GO! Matt. 28

Acts 1:8
You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on
you and you will be my witness in Jerusalem, Judea,
Samaria and the utter most parts of the world.

1. We have our Jerusalem city where we live.


2. We have our Judea the country.
3. We have our Samaria other cultures.
4. We have our World every where else.

This calling is simultaneous not sequential.

The poor have always been the most responsive to


the Gospel.

Those poor in their spiritual condition will also
respond.

What is the gospel?
