1. Site instruction
A site instruction is an order given by engineer (consultant) or his representatives delegated to the
contractor for the execution of works , purchase of goods, testing material , design issues , etc.

An instruction is related to site works as per the paragraph two “the engineer may issue to the
contractor (at any time) instructions and additional or modified drawings which may be necessary
for the execution of the works and the remedying of any defects, all in accordance with the
contract”

ii. Information on purchasing of goods
iii. Information on material testing and
iv. Designing issues

issuing the oral instruction it will not be operative unless confirmed in writing by the contractor
