Social Glow Corporation had been addressed to facilitate the development of community

project on increasing public awareness on health issues. There are few objectives that need to be

fulfilled the requirement of the project.

The main objective of the project is to create awareness campaign is to create awareness

and expand public discussion on health and what creates health. Which by elevating community-

generated ideas that re-centre on the importance of assuring conditions on the community support

the opportunity for everyone to be healthy. We worked with respected community members to plan

and conduct awareness campaign including the Non-Government Organization and from Ministry of

Health. Government functionaries and NGO representatives’ helps in strengthening health systems

awareness to the public. By involving the NGOs are aim to contribute in creating the health

awareness more efficient.

The next objectives is to shift predominant viewpoint about health care toward more

inclusive perspectives along a continuum of care, including promotion, prevention and recovery. The

idea was to make public realized on the importance of taking care of their health by providing

information and tools. It has been concerning about the low level of awareness on residents of

Sungai Buloh, thus our aim and target is to attract public attention in increasing their health-seeking

behavior. With all communication and promotional procedures, consideration should always be

given to the possibility development to scale and maintainability. In this project, mass media

coverage will be used to scale up the community interventions. Health promotion and

communication strategies need a long-term goal, and, therefore, they need a vision for sustainability

with commitment from significant role players to achieve longevity and progression in the program.

The third objective is to develop strategies to promote those ideas with targeted audiences,

such as key stakeholders and policy makers, aimed at changing attitudes and behaviors and

12
influencing policy discussions. The involvement of the local community is important with a strong

consultative process. By raising awareness within the community, we in turn will influence case

detection, raise the profile of the disease, advocate effectively for our patients, and, hopefully,

mobilize political will. Therefore, it is important that communities' efforts be designed effectively to

achieve the desired health outcomes. Through this project, the role of electronic media and socil

network such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram are vital in reaching for target audience. This tools

will encourage participation from the public and make connections with the younger generations.

23
9.0 CONTROL SYSTEM

Running an independent organization can feel like a juggling act. It takes time and

effort to optimize processes, manage people, and make sure the details are accounted for the

sake of the people and clients. Any missteps can have critical repercussions for our mission

and our brand down the line, so it is important to develop a strategic checklist while we are in

the planning phase, and then refine the details later. That is why, it is a need to hold meeting

at least twice a week between the clients and the team members. Meetings will give staff

members and administrators a chance to keep informed about what's happening in the

organization, to share ideas and successes, to help one another with problems, and to take on

organizational tasks. In order for meetings to be effective and reasonably enjoyable, you have

to engage in some preparation. A project will be succeeding if the meeting can be set up

regularly because we tend to monitor the project frequently.

The objective of having meeting face to face is that the clients will tell us directly

what they expect and the team members will try to fulfill the needs and wants of our clients,

as our goal is to satisfy the needs of our customers. Other than that, the customers also can

see the progress whether the project will be carried out according to the schedule fixed before

we start the project. The organization's relationship with the community it serves needs to be

fostered constantly. You must continually keep the organization's profile high, inform the

community of what you do and of the needs of the target population, make friends and allies,

and communicate with the media if you're going to get the community support you need.

To become a good project manager, it is a need to acquire keen knowledge of what

performance management is like, why it is so important in days and what strategies and

systems can be applied to get success and profit for the organization. What is more, a good

skill and ability to combine traditional and innovative techniques is required. Besides, the

attention will be paid to the application of management accounting control systems both

24
theoretically and empirically, and the difficulties faced in performance management will be

discussed and analyzed in order to make constructive conclusions and to work out valuable

recommendations on the matter. Before the meetings start, the project manager needs to

ensure the roles of the team members to be carried out rightfully in order for a smooth

outcome. No matter what theorganization does, staff members will be more effective if they

have the chance to learn new ideas and techniques that will help them become better at their

jobs and to share experiences and ideas with one another. Offering everyday encouragement

here might mean programming some time into staff meeting for discussion of what people are

actually doing, what's been working for them and new ideas they've encountered.

Lot of strategic control exists in the Social Glow Coporation. Like, employees are

guided, monitored, and evaluated on the meeting of annual objectives. In order to achieve the

effectiveness, operational control systems sets four essential objectives which are, set a

standard of performance, measure the actual performance, identify deviations from standards

set, and finally initiate corrective action.

To maintain the quality standard of the company Social Glow Corporation is

following the TQM method. Before implementing the TQM ten element of total quality

management is checked within the company. For example, define "Quality". Develop a

customer orientation, which emphasizes that quality is what the customer says it is. Focus on

the company's business processes. Develop customer and supplier partnerships. Adopt an

error-free attitude. Get every managers and employees to participate and many more.

Handling problems among staff, keeping current on what everyone's doing, maintaining a

positive organizational climate, arranging or overseeing supervision, organizing staff

development, evaluating staff performance, and generally making sure that everyone's happy

and focused on her job - all of these demand daily attention.

25
The other way to keep track of the project is to always monitor how well the project is

going. During the meetings, the committee is expected to plan how the project will be

implemented. If the schedule project is in line with the actual project, then the project is

going well but if there is any delay in any activities then the company needs to make a little

changes and need to make a quick progress. Each day, until the project is expected to end, the

company needs to ensure whether the organization runs programs, provides services, or

pursues advocacy, we have to make sure that the right people are in the right places at the

right times to do the work of the organization. In addition, someone has to carry out the

everyday procedures such as record keeping, attention to how well particular techniques are

working and others that make evaluation possible. Someone has to keep track of finances and

make sure that the books are kept properly, that employees and bills get paid, that income

gets to the bank, and that there's enough money in the checking account to keep operating.

Someone also has to keep track of grants and contracts, and be responsible for contact with

funders so that the expected budget for this budget will not go to waste or over using the

budget given. Social Glow needs to run daily financial reports including revenue reports,

payment reports, and transaction reports.

Especially where materials and supplies may be crucial - in a community clinic, for

instance, or a child nutrition program - the staff members who use or distribute them must

have an avenue for making their needs known. In some cases, the responsible staff members

may do their own ordering; in others, they may have to submit their requests to someone else.

In either case, there should be a system so that materials and supplies are constantly available

(i.e. get ordered often enough so that they never run out), at least as long as the money lasts.
