General Rules and Terms and Conditions – Fickle Friends (“Artist”)

1. The Competition will run on Artist’s social media sites (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) and via the Artist’s mailing list
(“the Website”).
2. Closing date for entries is 8th Jan 2018.
3. The Competition is open to all citizens of the anywhere in the World of 16 years of age.
4. Entries are not limited to one entry per person.
5. No purchase is necessary.
6. An eligible entrant must upload a video featuring themselves dancing along to Fickle Friends’ recording entitled “Swim”
(“Videos”) to the shared Dropbox link provided. If such Videos are deemed to be in Polydor Records, a division of
Universal Music Operation Limited’s (“Polydor Records”) sole discretion explicit, offensive or of insufficient quality they will
not be eligible to be included as part of the Prize. Polydor Records reserves the right to reject any video and/ or to require
entrants to provide proof of their age and/ or parental/ Guardian consent, any such entry shall be withdrawn from the
competition until such time as the entrant can provide the required information.
7. Any entrant hereby gives all requisite consents under the Copyright Designs and Patents Act 1988 (or any re-enactments
or amendments thereof) to enable Polydor Records to use the Videos submitted by entrant as described in these Terms
and Conditions in connection with the below Artist Video. For the avoidance of doubt entrant confirms that Polydor
Records shall be entitled in perpetuity throughout the world without further payment or liability to entrant or any third party
included in the Video: (i) to use and exploit the Video in any manner whatsoever and in all and any media worldwide, save
in any endorsement other than as permitted below (ii) to use entrant’s Video, name and likeness solely in connection with
the Competition (iii) to edit the Video submitted and to use and exploit the Video in any manner whatsoever and in all and
any media worldwide.
8. Winners of the Competition will be picked by Polydor Records and/or the Artist from all eligible Video entries promptly after
the entry closing date. You will not be contacted if your Video entry has been selected as a winner.
9. Polydor Records will not be liable for any failure of receipt of entries. Polydor Records will not be liable for technical,
hardware, or software failures of any kind or lost or unavailable network connections which may limit or prohibit an eligible
entrant's ability to participate in the Competition.
10. Polydor Records reserves the right, with or without cause, to exclude entrants and withhold prizes for violating any of
these General Rules and the Terms and Conditions. Polydor Records reserves the right to amend these General Rules.
Any amendments will be published on the Website.
11. “Prize” means your Video entry will be included in an Artist Video which will be posted to the Artist’s Vevo channel and
Artist’s social media channels (Facebook, Instagram and/or Twitter) for as long as Polydor Records sees fit (but for a
minimum of 48 hours).
12. There is no other alternative to the Prize stated and the Prize is not transferable and no part or parts of the Prize may be
substituted for other benefits, items or additions.
13. Uses of personal data received by Polydor Records and the Artist in the course of the competition are subject to the
privacy policy found on the Website. The winner’s name may be published on the Artist’s official media channels including
without limitation the Website.
14. By entering the competition all entrants are deemed to have accepted and be bound by these General Rules and Terms
and Conditions.
15. Polydor Records reserves the right at any time to cancel, modify or supersede the competition (including altering the
Prize) if, in our sole discretion, a competition is not capable of being conducted as specified.
16. If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and
deleted from these terms and conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
17. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive
jurisdiction.
18. The promoter of this competition is Polydor Records, a division of Universal Music Operations Ltd, a company registered
in England and Wales.
