PROJECT OVERVIEW: CPF KHAZZAN

Auto Blasting and Painting of 110,000 M2 of pipe at the Central Processing Facility (CPF) on
Block 61 at Khazzan, Sultanate of Oman. Blast cleaning and coating of 5 storage tanks.

The CPF will include two process trains, each having a capacity of 525 million standard
cubic feet of gas per day. The project also includes an associated condensate processing
system, power generation plant, water treatment system and all associated utilities and
infrastructure. The project is expected to be completed in 2017.

MAIN CONTRACTOR: The CPF is being developed by B.P. Exploration (Epsilon) Ltd.,

E.P.C CONTRACTOR: Petrofac is the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Company, for the Central
Processing Facility (CPF) at the Khazzan Field.

MECHANICAL & CIVIL SUBCONTRACTOR: C.C.C. (Consolidated Contractors Company) is the Mechanical and
Civil Subcontractor for the development of the central processing facility (CPF) at the Khazzan field.

BLASTING AND PAINTING SUBCONTRACTOR: ICS (International Corrosion Services) is the blasting and painting
subcontractor.

PROJECT OVERVIEW: CPF KHAZZAN

BLASTING AND PAINTING SUBCONTRACTOR:

• ICS is contracted for blast cleaning using a mixture

of Auto Blast Technology, operating an automatic
6 wheel blasting machine to blast clean to Sa 2½
standard.

• To clean straight run pipe and pipe spools that will

fit through the throat of the auto blast machine,
which has an opening of 1.5 meters x 1.5 meters.

• The auto blast machine is currently set up to blast

clean 24 Meters long double jointed pipe and
standard 12 meters pipe, and is handling pipe with

• ICS also operates a 72 inch rotating automatic blast
cleaning turntable machine, to blast clean small spools, pipe
saddles and E&I fixtures and fittings.

• In addition ICS blast • Painting is completed in ICS owned and
