Committees’ job description

Members Development committee:-

Summary:
-The main roles of MD member is recruiting, selecting, evaluating,
developing and entertaining other members.

Responsibilities:
1- Handling recruitment cycle (Job analysis and description,
applications, interviews and guiding the recruiters to the suitable
committees).
2- Implementation the policy of organization.
3- Evaluating and sustainable developing members.
4- Providing trainings for members.
5- Solving problems and handling complains.
6- Creating the application of attendees and filtering them.
7- Evaluating events (offline sheets & online)
8- Making database of all members (profiling).
9- Following up all committees till the main event occurs.
10- Organizing and conducting outings.
11- Knowing the members' needs and providing them with relevant learning events that match their needs.

Speakers & Coaching committee:-

Summary:
- This committee is responsible for searching for ideas according to TEDx criteria and slogan
"ideas worth spreading".
- Preparing lists for possible approached speakers.
- Providing a proper coaching strategy for all speakers and ensure that their talks are up to
standard and are ready with all proper requirements for their talk.

Responsibilities:
1- Working on finding the suitable theme and put it in a
Vote.
2- Selecting "Ideas" thus speakers according to the generated theme.
3- Preparing lists of speakers to be approached and providing a plan B list.
4- Managing applicant speakers and handling interviews with Members Development
committee.
5- Selecting a suitable host for the event (presenter).
6- Training the speakers and the host and making rehearsals for them to get the highest
performance on the stage.
7- Supervising speakers' backstage room.
8- Preparing presentations with speakers.

Public Relations committee:

Summary:
- The public relations committee is responsible for official representation of TEDxRasElbar.
- It's also the link between TEDxRasElbar and the host, performers, attendees, media sponsors.

Responsibilities:
1- Booth handling framework.
2- Participate in creating content for social media strategy and our identity on marketing plan in
general.
3- Responsible for hosting VIPs (From calling them to arrange for our TEDx event to the last
moment for them)
4- Handling the relationship with media sponsors.

Social Media & Interactive Media Committee:
Summary:
- The Social Media team is responsible for managing, maintaining, and updating any online
TEDxRasElbar resources.
- The social media executive works as a content manager, and handling the input (Content) from
PR & Ads team and visuals from the Design team.

Responsibilities:
1- Managing all TEDxRasElbar online accounts (Facebook Page, Twitter account, YouTube
Channel, flickr, Instagram, etc..).
2- Creating Social Media strategies (in coordination with Ads & Media team).
3- Focusing on constant online updates.
4- Website Design & Development.
5- Creating the user interface & experience.

‫تحديث و تغطية الفعاليات‬
‫تصميم و تطوير الموقع اإللكتروني‬
Multimedia Committee:

Summary:
- The Multimedia team is responsible for all TEDxRasElbar's visual output.
- Both marketing and design committees will work to create all promotional campaigns, as well as general
brainstorming for marketing ideas.
- The Multimedia team is required to create a strong visual identity for the year which all future designs &
visual output will be based upon.
- Documenting the events throughout the year through photos and videos.

Responsibilities:
1- Setting visual identity.
2- Graphic Design:
• Prints (banners, flyers, posters etc.)
• Presentation Slides (for speakers)
• Social Media Designs (Quotes, pictures etc.)
3- Photography:
• Professional portrait photography of members and speakers.
• Documentation of the main event.
• Documentation of general meetings, booths etc.
3- Video :
• Recording our TEDx talks in HQ.
• Documentation of booths etc.
• Editing our TEDx talks in 2-3 weeks after the main event.

.‫مسئولين عن تقديم الدعم البصري سواء للمتحدثين أو لباقي الفرق عن طريق تغطية األنشطة و الفعاليات لتوثيقها‬

‫وضع رؤية المحتوى البصري المميز لتيدكس‬
‫تصميم الجرافيك ؛ طباعة الملصقات و المطبوعات بأنواعها‬
‫تصميم العروض التقديمية للمتحدثين‬
‫التنسيق مع لجنة التواصل االجتماعي لتصميم التصميمات المطلوبة‬
‫التصوير الفوتوغرافي و الفيديو‬
Logistics committee:
Summary:
Logistics & Coordination committee is responsible for planning, providing needs for events and
activities and organizing any event by cooperation with other committees.
They are also responsible for all university relations such as approvals and hall reservations.

Responsibilities:
1- Handling any permissions in campus (Booths, info-session, main event).
2- Event Planning.
3- Venue preparations (Light, sound, Decoration, etc..).
4- Providing packages for events' attendees.
5- Optimize the quality,decreasing expenses and managing the assets of the team.
6- Serve other committees' logistical needs.

Finance and Fundraising:

Summary:
Planning and carrying out financial development activities, So as to maintain good relation with
sponsors in accordance with agreed BOC's (board of curators) plans, raising fund and writing
proposals.

Responsibilities:
1- Conducting market research to track potential sponsors.
2- Coordinating with the design team for designing the sponsors' packages.
3- Creating a full innovative campaign for sponsors.
4- Creating a framework for sponsors experience management (Tracking, data basing and
packaging)
