Trigger : To settle costs of Real internal orders to Assets ,GL A/c or Cost centers.

Business Process Description Overview

Run Actual settlement rule : We can use this function to distribute real costs collected on internal orders
to Assets , GL A/c or cost centers.

Input-Required Fields Field Value /Comments

Order Order No.

Settlement Period Period for which you are running the settlement.
Posting period Period for which you are posting the settlement.
Fiscal year Financial year.
Processing type Automatic.
Processed status : Test run Status of the cycle-whether test run or production run.

Output – Results Comments

You will get the message- Test run completed with Please read the name of the message. If your entry is
Messages-Error/Warning/Information. incomplete, that will be shown as “message.”

Tips and Tricks:

Run the settlement rule first with Test run status before production run.

PROCEDURAL STEPS

1.1 Access transaction by :

Via Menus Accounting Controlling  Orders

Period end closingSingle functionsSettlementIndivid. Processing.

Via Transaction Code KO88

1.2. On the “Actual settlement Order” screen, enter information in the fields as specified in the below table :

Field Name Description R/O/C User Action and Values Comments

Order R Name of the Order.

Period R Period for which you want to run the settlement.
Fiscal year R Financial year.
Processing type R Enter 1 for Automatic
Processed with Test run O Tick this box if you want to execute Test run first.
Tick this box if you want a detailed list.

1.3. Press F8 or Execute

1.4. First you run with test run status & check the accuracy by Clicking settlement rule,sender, Receiver and
messages .To see the messages, double click on the message.

1.5. If you are satisfied with the messages, click back or F3 , take out the test run status and Click Execute or F8
again which will be production run.

1.6 Run the report to see whether the amount is settled to the receiver.
