Business Process Description Overview

Creation of SKF: SKF represent activities or statistics. In CO , SKF is used in assessment and distribution
as allocation basis by means of which a cost receiver is charged. Example of SKF in our company are
KWH, Floor area, Humidification area Total spindles etc.

You will get the message- SKF created with Please read the name of the message. If your entry is
“Code”. incomplete, that will be shown as “message.”

Tips and Tricks:

You can give Plan & Actual values to SKF. Plan values can be used to allocate plan costs and actual values to
allocate actual values. For SKF for which value will not change frequently , you can use plan value itself to
allocate actual cost also. e.g., in the case of Floor area.

1.1 Access transaction by :

Via Menus Accounting Controlling  Cost Centers

1.2. On the “Create statistical key figure : Initial Screen “, enter information in the fields as specified in
the below table :

Stat. Key figure Code O If this Statistical Key Figure is similar to one that
already exists, then you can give the name of that
SKF so that entries in all fields of that SKF will
be copied. In the next screen, you can change
any fields by overwriting .
Controlling area Co. Area O Enter here the Controlling area of the sample
Statistical Key Figure . Enter“PIL” if the sample
cost center belongs to CoArea PIL -Patspin or ”
“GTN” if the sample cost center belongs to
CoArea GTN.
1.3. Press Enter or F5 to advance to the next screen.

1.4. On the “Create statistical key figure : Master data Screen “, enter information in the fields as specified in
the below table :

Name R Enter the name of the SKF ( Description )

Stat. Key fig. Unit R Enter the unit of measure of the SKF
Key figure type R Enter type 1 if values are more or less fixed over a
period of time. Then the values entered for this SKF
are valid from the initial period and are carried
forward for all subsequent periods of the current
fiscal year.
Enter type 2 if values vary. Then the values entered
are valid for the respective period and are NOT
carried forward to the subsequent periods.

1.5 Save the document by pressing Ctrl+S of click Save icon.

Changing a SKF : SKF represent activities or statistics . In CO , SKF is used in assessment and
distribution as allocation basis by means of which a cost receiver is charged. Example of SKF in our
company are KWH, Floor area, Humidification area Total spindles etc. You can change the fields of a SKF
using the following function.
