The firm seeks to restructure and turn around financially distressed but viable companies in India using
an activist and control oriented investment strategy to generate outsized returns. The team is focused
on industrial and cyclical sectors that will benefit the most from consolidation and an upturn in the
economy. Since 2005, Eight Capital has invested $500 MM along with co-investors across sectors and
instruments.

Eight Capital is looking to hire an Analyst in its Mumbai office.

Job responsibilities

1. Perform fundamental analysis, build financial models, analysing business model of select
companies and competitors and conduct company calls/visits, write internal reports for the
portfolio manager and the investment committee
2. Perform accounting activities including calculation of daily/monthly NAV of various funds,
liaison with administrator and auditor as and when required for smooth running of the fund
3. Perform various analytics on portfolio and assist in preparing marketing materials
4. Assist in transaction execution, review of legal agreements, liaise with various counterparties
including banks, legal counsel, monitor the performance of investee companies
5. Perform operational and administrative activities on an as needed basis including assisting in
fund set up, compliance, and any other needs that may be required in smooth running of the
organisation
