PROFILE BRIEF:
 B.E. (Mechanical) with a total of 03 years experience in the heavy engineering industry
 Worked for a period of two years as Junior Officer for mechanical maintenance in the engineering
department of Mundra international Container Terminal (MICT), Mundra, Gujarat, a part of the Dubai
Ports World Group.
 Currently working for Jindal Steel & Power Limited, Angul, Orissa as an Assistant Engineer for the 6X135
MW Power Plant +5X 180 TPH Process boiler Project in the Balance of Plant Department (BOP) for over
a year.
 Hands on experience in mechanical maintenance of heavy machinery as well as overseeing project
activities from conceptualization to execution whilst adhering to technical specifications and all other
necessary requirements and considerations.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

Since Dec, 2010 to Present Jindal Steel & Power Limited

Role & Responsibilities:

 Responsible from site execution along with other project activities like Preparation of Purchase request
in, Vendor Identification & technical discussion with vendor, vendor’s offer finalization, basic engineering
& drawings approval, Procurement clearance & procurement follow-ups for bought out items,
coordination between site & vendor.
 Fabrication & Erection of Low pressure piping package including DMCCCW System, Boiler fill & Hot well
make up system, Potable water & service Water System, ACW-CW System, Service air & Instrument air
system as per the piping tech sheets (Layout & Isometric Drawings)
 Erection & Commissioning of 4 ACW pumps(6000 M 3/Hr) ,7 CW pumps(20300 M3/Hr) at power
plant(completed) and 2 ACW Pumps (2000 M3/Hr) at process boiler (ongoing) (make :WPIL)
 Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) work plan scheduling, manpower planning, monitoring
 Overseeing installation & commissioning as well as conducting tests & inspections to ensure operational
effectiveness of utilities as per the drawings and technical specification sheets
 Receiving of imported Packages at site & ensuring proper storage of the same.
 Material Management and Material Verification at site.
 Coordination of work force and resources including tool & movement.
 Responsibility for quality, safety & housekeeping at project sites.

 Maintenance of Rubber Tire Gantry Crane, Rail Mounted Quay Crane, Rail Mounted Gantry Crane,
Reach Stackers
 Trouble Shooting and Modification of Design as required.
 Adjustment of Electromagnetic and Electro hydraulic brakes.
 Execution of all fabrication work and structural modifications as and when required for fast and
uninterrupted operations.
 Maintaining monthly records and submitting the same for analysis of equipment performance.
 Providing suggestions and modifications as required for improvement of safety standards in and around
the equipments.
 Contribute to the continuous improvement process and of the meeting of relevant objectives and
targets.
 Maintenance of Hydraulic Power Pack with DC and Proportional Control valves.

ACADEMIC PROJECT: Four Wheel Steering System (4WS) Application of industrial engineering
concepts to economize and improve the existent design with view for mass production so as to improve
driving control for heavy commercial vehicles and reduce the number of accidents involving such vehicles.
