The magical story of

teamwork
I believe teamwork plays an important role in life, business and
sports.

When I first began writing, I wrote a best-seller book in French

on cooperation and team building games.

In fact, we sold more than 25,000 copies.

Imagine you're playing a team sport and your teamates don't

pass the puck to you. They don't celebrate a goal with you.

Basically there's no chemistry or teamwork.

How can you win?

Well you have to eliminate the players who don't want to play
together with your teamates or you have to teach them what you
expect them to do.

As long as I can remember I've watched hockey on television and

my team is the Montreal Canadiens. They still are today the best
team in the world anyway in my mind ;-)!

In 1993 the Montreal Canadiens were in the Stanley Cup finals.

Unbelievably they won 10 games in overtime on their road to

victory.

They could not lose.

The Canadiens won the finals 4-1 against the Los Angeles King to
win the team's twenty-fourth Stanley Cup. 1993 was the 100th
anniversary of the first awarding of the Stanley Cup. As of 2010,
the Canadiens remain the last Canadian team to have won the
Cup.

This would be the last Stanley Cup Final series to be played in

the Montreal Forum, and the last time Wayne Gretzky would play
in the Final as well, as he tried to become the first to captain two
teams to the Stanley Cup, having been with the Edmonton Oilers
to Stanley Cups in 1984, 1985, 1987, and 1988.

It was Montreal's first trip to the finals in four years, while it was
the first-ever trip to the finals for the Kings in their 26-year
history. As of the 2009 season, this is the most recent time that
a Canadian team has won the Stanley Cup Championship. It is
also the last time the Canadiens have advanced to the Stanley
Cup Final.

In 1993, Montreal won the Stanley Cup.

It's been an up and down year and they barely made the finals
BUT magic is in the works... teamwork.

And something really unusual is happening this year, the 100th

anniversary of the team.

The team started to gel together. The veterans and the younger
players are making a difference. There is balance and chemistry
on the team. The fans are behind them 100%. You can feel the
confidence, momentum, teamwork, and crowd energy. All
important components of a winning team.

Now the team has a superb ownership, an unbelievable tradition

and an energy that is unparalleled in the league.

I believe it's time again. It's our game. Hey I'm French Canadian
after all.

And dare I make a prediction, the Montreal Canadiens will win

the Stanley Cup again this year 2010. Of course, I have a bias
but Go, Habs, Go. They are part of my identity.

Enjoy the core lessons on teamwork in this video and note the
players' comments.
A story of inspiration and
mission
Do you need inspiration?

My wife works in marketing communications and recently she

had an idea to organize a team building activity with her
personel. I’ll tell you about it later.

First I want you to imagine your 30 years old and a millionaire.

As usual I invite you to please share this story and video with

He sold cookbooks and candy to high school chapters of the

Future Homemakers of America with his friend, Morris Dees.
Sounds like old school affiliate hubs.

Also imagine he sold tractor cushions through Future Farmers of

America. In fact, he sold 20 train carloads in 3 months. They
made money, lots of it.

Indeed Fuller and Dees always tried to come up with catch

phrases to brand their products.

Suddenly Fuller had relationship problems with his wife. What

would you do?

He sold nearly everything he had and set out to find a mission.

Mr. Fuller and his wife decided to build no-interest homes for the
poor.

Down the road, it became Habitat For Humanity.

Millard Fuller gave Habitat For Humanity an identity. Habitat's

home-building mission is founded on hard work, (“sweat
equity”), and employs the “theology of the hammer” with
emphasis on action.
Since its inception, the international organization has built more
than 300,000 homes in 93 countries.

Today my wife is trying to organize her team to build a home for

the poor. What a wonderful gesture it would be for a family in
need.

Watch the video and get inspiration about how you can help your
fellow human.

He talks candidly about his

talents and skills
What's the difference between talents and skills?

How can you help people?

Are you facing a brick wall?

Are you facing challenges in your life?

Are you in front of obstacles you have to overcome?

Find out in this success story what you can do about it.

As usual I invite you to please share this story and video with

He's won multiple Grammy awards, and was nominated for 4

Globe and 2 Academy Awards partly because of his talents but
mostly because of his skills. You'll find out why in the video
below.
I first watched this actor in a television series The Fresh Prince of
Bel-Air.

Willard Christopher "Will" Smith, Jr. was born September 25,

1968.

He starred in the films Bad Boys, Bad Boys II, Independence

Day, Men in Black, Men in Black II, I, Robot, The Pursuit of
Happyness, I Am Legend, Hancock, Wild Wild West, Enemy of the
State, Shark Tale, Hitch, Seven Pounds, Ali and Six Degrees of
Separation.

People seem to like him because his films regularly gross more
than $100 million at the box office.

Here are some of Will Smith's famous quotes with my added

comments...

"In my mind, I've always been an A-list Hollywood superstar.

Y'all just didn't know yet." -- A mind trick you can use right now.
Talking about myself... "In my mind, I've always been a kind,
generous and soft-spoken man. You all just didn't know until
now."

"I don't know what my calling is, but I want to be here for a
bigger reason. I strive to be like the greatest people who have
ever lived." -- You can model people who are successfull and be
yourself.

"Money and success don't change people; they merely amplify

what is already there."-- What you believe is your reality.

I invite you to listen and watch the video of a famous actor who
explains very explicitly his beliefs about life.

I especially love the story about the brick wall.
