Las tres formas del verbo “be” (ser o estar) en el SIMPLE PRESENT (PRESENTE
SIMPLE) son “am”, “is” y “are”, ¿Se acuerdan? Bueno, en el SIMPLE PAST
(PASADO SIMPLE) existen dos formas. “was” y “were”.
Para formar oraciones negativas en SIMPLE PAST para el verbo “to be”, sólo
debo agregar “not” al verbo. Puedo utilizar formas largas o abreviadas.

Completa las oraciones usando el SIMPLE PAST del verb “to be”
en AFFIRMATIVE (+) o en NEGATIVE (-).
Examples:
- Sarah ____________ at home. (+) = Sarah was at home.
- My friends ____________ happy. (-) My friends weren’t happy.

It
Was it rainy?
Yes, it was.
No, it wasn’t.

Examples:
Yesterday = ayer
Last week = la semana pasada. (se puede usar "last year" = el año
pasado, o “last month”= el mes pasado, “last night” = anoche, o
“last weekend” = el fin de semana pasado).
Examples:
Con esto doy por finalizada la clase. Espero que les haya resultado fácil y
que hayan podido entender el verbo TO BE en sus distintas formas en
SIMPLE PAST.
