This is to convey my interest in studying a Master’s degree in Global Project Management at Torrens
University. My name is Anderson Joel Olivier Reyes, and my formal education includes a Bachelor’s
degree in Telecommunication Engineering and completion of English for academic propose course at
Langports English college in Brisbane city.

As a telecommunication Engineer, I have been working in networking and security field for more
than three years in Venezuela, and as a result, I have obtained experience and developed my skills.
Nevertheless, I have also noticed that it is vital to continue developing my knowledge in areas such
as project management which has an important impact on task fulfilment and resource optimization
and which must be improved as the technology sector is growing. In addition, I strongly believe that
the master of Global Project Management will perfectly meet my expectation, and will help me to
increase my experience, as well as open new doors in the technology field.

I would also want to point out that, I have chosen Torrens University after researching different
project management programs and the one offered by Torrens is the one that is most compatible
with my career interest, and will enhance my professional profile as well as, cultivate other
proficiencies. After completing this course, I will be able to obtain a position in project management
and to utilize my knowledge and leadership skills to encourage and promote innovative ideas to
advance professional technology projects.

I firmly believe that I have the intellect, skills and talents necessary to succeed in the Global Project
Management program. My strong desire to contribute to the advancement of project management
in Venezuela continues to drive me to accomplish my goals and study in a country internationally
recognized for its academic excellence like Australia will give me recognition and life experience.

However, I understand the cost of attending the Master’s degree in Global Project Management
program at Torrens University which is in the region of $20,000 per year. I have adequate funds to
support my studies because firstly since I came to Australia I have been supported by my own
fundings which I made during my previous professional activities and also I have been financing by
my family business which bases on a Hospital industry business. In addition to this, I have a sister
who already is Australian citizen so she will be legally sponsoring me in Australia.
