Fermented Beta-Glucan has high water Retentivity, as well as many other useful features. It is
known as a functional component of mushrooms and yeasts, and is widely applied in pharmaceuticals
and food ingredients.
Manufacturing Method
Fermented Beta-Glucan LQ (FBG) is produced by extraction of extracellular β-Glucan produced by the
black yeast Aureobasidium pullulans. It’s major component is β-D-1,3-1,6-Glucan. (The product is
available in liquid form (LQ, 1% Beta-Glucan) and in powder form (85% Beta-Glucan).

Storage and Handling
Fermented Beta-Glucan LQ
Store at 3 ~ 15 oC. No additives/preservatives are used.
Please use as soon as possible once opened.
Fermented Beta-Glucan Powder
Avoid high temperature and high humidity, and store below 25 oC.
Please use as soon as possible once opened, if any product remains, seal the cap tightly.
Ingredients
Sucrose, Yeast Extract, Minerals, Aureobasidium pullulans
Application
Can be applied as a humectant in cosmetics (basic skin care products, hair care products,
sunscreens).
