Intelligent Optimisation Systems
LiSEC optimisation systems avoid remnant plates whenever possible. If they cannot be avoided,
though, the intelligent system puts the remnant plates first for coming orders. Any collisions in
the process are therefore eliminated.
If necessary, for example when storing glass that has just been delivered, remnant plates can be
repositioned automatically.

This advanced system is based on long-term experience with manual systems and the proven
ATF loading system by Lisec. It is the best optimisation system currently available for your glass
storage and overhead loading system.

base CUT
Automatic Float Glass
Cutting Machine
The compact base CUT glass cutting machine is ideally suited for cutting straight lines and shapes out of flat
glass. Its construction ensures maximum precision and minimal cutting tolerances, as well as the machine’s
highest level of durability. Loading is performed manually by means of free-fall in the basic machine model.
After loading, the glass can be manually positioned against the reference marks. After which, the operator
initiates cutting and the machine automatically detects the glass sheet‘s position in x and y direction to
ensure precise glass cutting. Each stock sheet is manually positioned.

TDV - Horizontal subplate turning equipment (90°)

TDV-33 has been developed to avoid the use of a y-cut breaking system arranged at 90°.
The transport section of this space-saving machine is equipped with a roller drive and an integrated
lifting and turning plate, which lifts the glass sheet off, turns it 90° and then lowers it again. Following
this, the sub-plates are transported to the TBR subplate breaking system by means of the downstream
belt transport unit. TBR then breaks all the y-cuts.
Optionally, two narrow subplates can be simultaneously turned and transported to the downstream
breaking device through split drives. This optional equipment allows an enormous increase in perfor-
mance.

TBR - Automatic subplate breaking system with integrated removal of trim cuts and
remaining pieces
TBR can break apart both trim cuts and y-cuts. The subplates turned by the TDV are broken apart, and
front and, if necessary, rear trim cuts are removed. Glass pieces are automatically disposed of into a
container situated underneath the machine.

The loading/unloading station comprises a moveable roller wall that is guided on a rail on one
side. If this roller wall is placed in front of a sorting buffer slot manually, glass sheets may be
removed from the buffer or inserted into the buffer manually. If the glass sheets are placed onto
the loading station from the sorting buffer then they can be transferred to an insulating glass
line or onto a stationary roller wall manually. They may then be used for other processing steps
from the stationary roller wall.

This system is particularly well-suited for quick and elective sorting of glass sheets.

TEMPERING
Handle with AIR!
As the specialists in the field of the processing and refining of flat
glass, we set the objective to always go one step further. 20 years ago
we revolutionized the tempering of flat glass and since then, we have
continuously developed this technology. World-wide, there are already High-quality products deserve the best treatment. This is why we only allow trustful

result of the innovative technology: top quality flat glass – economic and future-proof.
Trust in the inventor.

LiSEC tempering process by means of Air Cushion Technology officially taken up in a standard

The LiSEC tempering process has officially been published in a standard as „Air Cushion Process“. As the first country in the EU,
Great Britain has published the BS EN 12150-1:2015 in September 2015. The publication of the German and English version via
the Austrian Institute for Standardization was performed in November 2015.

The EN 12150-1 is a harmonized standard to the Construction Products Regulation, i.e. that LiSEC customers are state-of-the-art
with the tempering according to the „Air Cushion Process“ and that their products comply with the Construction Products
Regulation. Andreas Winter, managing director of the company Glastech Produktions- und Verfahrenstechnik GmbH (Glastech
production and process engineering): „If a product does not comply with the Construction Products Regulation, it is subject to
extra examination and approval. If the product is modified only slightly this product is required to reexamine the product. If
you are within the standard, it is possible to perform any changes that are within the standard limits. From now on, safety glass
tempered by means of the LiSEC air cushion process is considered state-of-the-art.“

At the LiSEC Glass Forum, the AEROFLAT technology for tempering is used. For further information on AEROFLAT or
our Glass Forum please contact office@glastech.co.at

LiSEC AEROFLAT is ideally suited for coated glass sheets.

Light, flexible and robust glasses without optical distortions are excellently
suited for the use in modern architecture. Tempered thin glass convinces due to
