Websites
Research

1. Look at this website review about youtube

What is it?

This is a website where you can find short video clips of all kinds. You can
find several versions of almost any popular song, clips from TV series and
films, ‘how to’ video demonstrations for any topic from cookery to DIY,
gardening to origami … and lots, lots more.

How does it work?

YouTube is very user-friendly. You can enter key words into a search box
or you can browse through favourites and most popular clips. You can also
upload your own clips.

Who is it useful for?

YouTube is useful for professional, academic and personal use. It has

interesting clips for children, teenagers and adults. Clips are available in
most languages.

Disadvantages

Sometimes Youtube clips disappear. If you want to make sure that you
can access a clip at a later date, you need to ‘catch’ and store the clip
onto your computer. You can do this by using free downloadable
software such as tubecatcher.
