SPEECH
MODERATOR KATA2 ALUAN.. BLA BLA BLA..

PERKENALKAN NAMA AHLI PANEL

MODERATOR Ladies and gentlements, before we go further, we better to search for what is
meant by bullying and what causes the symptoms to be widespread among the
students? To answer this question, let me ask the first question to the first
panelist. ___________, please express this question to all.

PANEL 1 Thank you miss moderator. According to the Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka,
bullying is defined as a person's annoyance with deeds and words. In
recent times, bullying cases have increased in size and can be displayed on the
chest of the newspaper. Bullying has also gained the attention of the mass
media and became the mouthpiece of society. Bullying is also a concern for
parents and governments. Generally why bullying issues are rising and what are
the factors that encourage teenagers to get caught up in this issue?

First of all, parents are the main source of adolescent trapped in bullying issues.
Many parents in this era of globalization work and they can not spend time with
their children. Reducing love from causing children to need attention. Therefore,
they bully Other students seem to get the attention of others. Also, frequent
quarrels and broken family are also among the factors that encourage teenagers
to be trapped in bullying issues.

.In addition, peer influence is also a factor in teenagers getting caught up in this
issue. It's easy to be fooled by peers 'words and commit negative
activities such as bullying. The fucking friends with bullies will also emulate their
friends' actions and bully other students. They do not aware of the
mistakes and just follow friends' conversations such as the nose buffalo.

.the influence of the film also encourages teenagers to be trapped in bullying

cases. Films containing elements of gangsterism can poison teenagers. Those
who like to imitate actors in the film will emulate the actor and bully other
students. They will be proud with their "courage" and engage in these negative
activities.

Generally, most bullies are bully victims who have been hurt and disgruntled.
These bullys are angry and they will be depressed by this situation. They want to
show the strength and courage to other students. This is to frighten the weaker
students so they are not bullied anymore. In addition, there were also bullying
victims who joined secret societies and gangster gangsters to bully the bully. In
time, the bully victim would be a bully and bully other students.

In conclusion, there are many factors that encourage teenagers to be trapped in

bullying issues. These factors can easily influence adolescents to do this negative
thing. Therefore, parents should always monitor their child's movements
so that they are not involved in bullying cases. , other parties such as
government and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) should also engage in
efforts to combat bullying cases.

That’s all from me, thank you.

Moderator That was very long detailed and interesting explanation from our first panellist,
________. Now, we know what is the real definition of bullying and what are
the causes of this bullying. So panel 2, _________________________ , you as a
teacher of SMK Gong Badak , can you tell us, what are the role of parent,
friends, and your role as a teacher in solving this problem?

Panel 2 Thank you miss moderator.

Parent role
1. Spend time together
2. Hear about their stories and let them share about their problem.
3. Give some advise and Try to give solution for them solve the problem and try
in soft spoken to provide good education.

Friends
1. Protect friends
2. Share problem
3. Try to solve and advise friends
4. Ask your friend to tell to teacher and parent. If he afraid , help him by
reported to teacher and he parent

Teacher.
Teacher is second parent to the children. However, not all responsibility should
be placed on the teacher. Teacher responsibility only at school then when at
home children responsibility on their parent. Teacher had to give good
education to the student. Give advice and also tell them bad effect if they
bullying. And also tell them why we cannot do that.

If teacher has been reported about the bullying cases, he should found who the
victims and who’s the bullies. Try to advise them first, then tell their parent.
Teacher will send the bullies to the counsellor and give some punishment like
clean toilet and so on.

Moderator That was a very good roles that we need to do to decrease the number of bully’s
cases in this world. Now, we with our third panellist, our police officer, Miss
Ainul . You as a police officer must know the statistics of this bully cases, am I
right Miss Ainul?

Panel 3 Yes, Miss Moderator.

Moderator So, Miss Ainul, can you share with us the statistics of bully cases that had
happened to our beautiful country, Malaysia? And what is your role as a police
office in against this bullying activity? I know many of us really concern and want
to know about this.
Panel 3 Thank you Miss Moderator.

Bullying cases in schools are showing an alarming increase with physical bullying
being the most common form at last year. The total number of bullying cases
was 3,448, a 14.5% increase from 3,011 cases in 2015. In 2014, there were 2,901
cases. There were 1,833 cases of physical bullying in secondary schools and 671
cases in primary schools last year, compared to 1,507 and 617 in 2015.There
were 706 physical bullying cases in secondary schools as of June this year while
in primary schools, 106 cases were reported. Other cases also on the rise include
social bullying such as spreading rumours, mocking and humiliating fellow
students. There were 144 such cases in secondary schools last year compared to
138 in 2015. As of June this year, 30 cases were reported. Such cases also occur
in primary schools, which saw a slight decrease from 69 cases in 2015 to 63
cases last year.

As a police officer can do many ways to eradicate bullying and gangsterisme

among students but, its require cooperation between teachers and parents. If
the teachers themselves are limited to provide information because of the
attitude of the parents, how we want to act, right?

That’s all from me.

Panel 4 Tq moderator... I hv been a victims of bullying before when i in secondary
school. I based on my experience, i hv 3 ways to avoid from been a victims of
bullying.

DON'T LET THE BULLY SEE THAT YOU CAN.

a bully's goal is to make you cry and feel worthless. Sure, the things he say may
be hurtful and filt you with self- doubt but you must never, ever let the bully see
that everything he says has an effect on you. If he says something mean and
you look visibly upset, then he'll only be encouraged to dole out more of the
same. But if he calls your names and you shrug and act like you couldnXt care
less, then he will likely to keep pestering you.

Of course it can be hard to keep your emotional botted up inside, especially if

the bully is really hurting you. Just stay and cool...Througj it may sound hard ,
try not to be the bully's word get to you or make you think there's something
wrong with you. Remember that the bully is a mean person who takes pleasure
out of hurting people. So, why would u think that anything he or she said was
true? Just ignored it.

Walk away.

If the situation seems threatening or dangerous, it's best to get away from the
bully. Even if it is not dangerous situation, remember that u don' t have to listen
to someone say mean things to you.
Try to walk towards person, such as towards a teacher or someone else who
will not put the bulliying.
* not put up
Take legal action.

Continued the bullying tjat causes emotional or physical damage may be

ground for taking legal action. If the measures taken by the school and the
bully's parents are not sufficient to correct tje problem, u might want to
consider getting a lawyer involved.
