the organization. Together, they have added members and
projects for the village of Bradford. Membership now totals
around twenty.

One of their biggest fundraisers is an annual auction for the

cancer society and their pink ribbons. For one evening’s
entertainment, each member is asked to bring a guest and a

donation to be raffled off. Ever since they started this project,
yours truly has been the auctioneer. The club raises $600 to

Mango Language Database What’s happening at...

At Milton Public Library
The Milton-Union Public Library recently began a new long-
term subscription to Mango Languages database, available free,
online, and with mobile access, to library card holders.
Thanks largely to a $4,860 grant awarded to the library by the
Miami County Foundation, the library has purchased a perpetual
subscription to the language learning database offering instruc-
tion and enrichment in more than 70 languages. This comprehen-
sive and enjoyable language learning tool will be an assured pres-
ence in the library's collection of resources, regardless of vagaries
in state funding.
MUPL staff extend their appreciation to the Miami County
Foundation for their assistance in helping local students, travel-
ers, and job seekers in our multi-lingual society.
