2017)
 NICL AO Mains Exam 2017 is now over , which was conducted today i.e. o  2nd
July 2017. National Insurance Corporation Limited is conducting this recruitment
for the post of Administrative O cer for a total of 205 vacancies. Now we are

for the post of Administrative O cer for a total of 205 vacancies. Now we are
sharing the exam analysis of NICL AO Mains Exam , which you are all waiting for.
This exam analysis will help you identify the level and pattern of questions asked in
this exam. We have also shared the expected cut off for NICL AO Mains 2017
based on the overall di culty level of this exam.
As compared to previous exams of this year such as SBI PO , this exam was bit
easier. Although in English Language ,  questions were based on the pattern of
questions asked in SBI PO Mains. Overall level of the exam was moderate .There
were 200 questions in objective part, which had to be answered in 120 minutes.
There were ve sections, namely, Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude , English
Language, General Awareness and Computer Awareness . All the sections except
the section on English Language were available bilingually, that is, both in English
and in Hindi. Each question had 5 options. One-fourth or 0.25 marks will be
deducted for every incorrect answer.

This section had 40 questions with a total weightage of 40 marks. Questions
featured in the Reasoning ability section of NICL AO Mains Exam were easy-
moderate in terms of di culty level.

NICL AO Mains Exam Analysis 2017 : General Awareness

General Awareness section had total 40 questions. In general, the di culty level of
this section was easy-moderate. This section saw a mix of questions from Current
Affairs and Banking and insurance awareness. Some questions were from Static
Part also .Mostly questions were from insurance awareness .Insurance questions
from economic survey also asked.

NICL AO Mains Exam Analysis 2017 : Computer Awareness

There were 40 questions in this section for a total of 40 marks . Easy level
questions were asked in computer awareness. The questions asked in this section
were from the following topics:

Basics of DBMS
Operating system
Basics of computer security

NICL AO Mains Exam Analysis 2017 : Descriptive Section 

There were 3 questions asked in this exam. the duration was 30 minutes to answer
all 3 questions.Questions). In essay ,3 topics were given from which candidates
had to choose one topic
 
Essay Writing:
Word limit for essay was 200. The topics in essay were insurance related  : Home
and Property insurance
 
Comprehension :
For answering comprehension questions , word limit was 150 words. The topic
asked was related to corporation.
