CRIMINOLOGY AND JUSTICE STUDIES


• This worksheet is intended for supplemental use only. The University will use your Academic Requirements Report (ARR) to track your
graduation requirements, including those for your major. Please continue to check your Student Center and ARR for accuracy.
• If your ARR requires a correction, please submit an ARR Correction Form at www.csusm.edu/academicadvising.
• All courses used for the major and preparation for the major must be completed with a grade of C (2.0) or higher.
• All non-articulated courses MUST be reviewed and approved by a faculty advisor.
• A minimum of 18 units in the major must be completed at CSUSM.
• For those with a double major in Criminology & Justice Studies and Sociology, each major must consist of at least 24 separate units
from the other majors’ requirements.
• For those pursuing a minor in Sociology, only twelve (12) units of the minor may be used for the major.
• Upper-division coursework (Core and Electives) must total a minimum of 35 units.
• Courses used for the major may NOT double count towards upper-division general education requirements and may NOT be in the
same discipline as your major.
• Additional general elective courses may be required in order to satisfy the University's 120 overall units requirement.
