Harmonics

A harmonic is a wave which is a whole number multiple of a fundamental frequency (http://www.vibrationresearch.com/university/fundamental-frequency/). For example
if you have a 60 Hz (first harmonic) sine tone, the harmonics will be whole number multiples of that fundamental (first harmonic) tone. The first harmonic is 60 Hz, the
second harmonic is 120 Hz, the third harmonic is 180 Hz, etc.
