Please read these instructions and go into the station after the bell.

IM Injection
You are a 2nd year student working on a medical ward. The Doctor has
asked you to give an IM injection of Metoclopramide 10mg to a 45 year
old male, who has profuse vomiting.

Please tell the examiner the volume you intend to give and show them
the amount you have drawn up.

For this competency you must

 Correctly calculate and document a drug dose for IM injection

 Administer an IM injection
 Maintain safe handling of sharps and other waste disposal

This is a 12 minute station

At 12 minutes a voice will advise you to stop and move to the next
station.
