Preparations 2.1
• System OFF.
• Remove the collimator from the system.
NOTE The plates and curved rings can be operated manually while
power OFF. This will make replacing the plates easier.
Removal 0
• Carefully turn the plates by the curved rings into the position shown in the illustration
(Fig. 1 / p. 8) (makes it easier to remove the plates).
• Remove the 4 mounting screws.
• Remove the defective plates. Make sure that the defective plates are complete after
removing them, and if applicable, remove broken parts from the collimator.
• Assemble the plate unit. All screws and spring must be inserted. The springs must be
pressed flush against the white support plate.
Check the position of the plates using the gauge with the collimator closed (mechanical
stop) and, if needed, readjust by carefully bending the metal plate part.
The adjustment must be performed for both pairs of plates.
