GROUP I

 Read the text carefully.

My School Day

My name is Susan. I’m eleven years old and I’m in Year 6. I go to Belatrix
Potter School in London. There are about 270 students in my school. My class
has got 25 students. My school starts at 9.00 and finishes at 3.30. I study
English, Mathematics, Science, Information Technology (Computers), Religious
Education, History, Geography, Art, Music and Physical Education.
My favourite school day is Tuesday. My first lesson is History, at 9.00. We
usually watch videos and the teacher has a sense of humour. At 9.45 I’ve got
Science. I like Science because we make exploding mixtures!
At 10.40 there’s a break, and I eat a cheese sandwich or fruit and drink fruit
juice. Lunchtime is at 12.30, but before that I have Maths.
I also have lessons in the afternoon. The first lesson is English. I like learning
this subject and the lessons are fun. My last lesson of the day is Physical
Education. We do basketball, football, tennis, running and my favourite sport –
cricket.
