Calibration process

 Have you done Calibration in your Implementation?

 Please tell standard procedure of Calibration?

Calibration is the process of test the accuracy of the test equipment like

PH meter

Voltage meter

Current meter

Thermo meter

Balance meter

Pressure meter

Venturi meters

Etc….

In configuration, the order type has to be checked with Inspection type 14.

For Plant maintenance is 14

For Quality receipt is 01

For Production receipt is 04.

The Inspection characteristics may be

1) Quantitative--- (Countable) ex: Length, Dia

2) Qualitative---- (Non Countable) ex: Color.

Note:

Inspection points for Equipment is: 300

Inspection points for Functional Location is: 310

Steps involved in Calibration process:

QS31(Inspection Method)-QS21(Master Inspection Characteristics)-

QDV1(Sampling Procedure)-IA05(Task List with QM data)-IP41(Single cycle
Maintenance Plan)-IP10(Scheduling)-QE17(Inspection Lot)-QA32(User
Decision).
1) Create Inspection Method by using a T code, (QS31).
2) Create Master Inspection Characteristics (MIC’s) by using a T code, (QS21).
3) Create Sampling Procedure by using a T code, (QDV1).
4) Create a Task List with QM data by using a T code, (IA05).
5) Create a Single cycle Maintenance Plan by using a T code, (IP41).
6) Scheduling a Single cycle Maintenance Plan by using a T code, (IP10).

Once Calibration order is released, it will be generated an Inspection Lot (QE17).

Inspection Lot is a component or a tool which is used to record the test result
against test parameter.

Once result is recorded, we need to valuate a test parameter and tale the
user decision using a T code, (QA32).

Environment (Menu bar lo)--Inspection Lot no save avutadi.

 When will Inspection Lot generate?

On release of Maintenance order.
