In the matter of determination of retail supply tariff under Section 62 of the

Electricity Act, 2003 for FY 2017-18.

Amendment Order.

The Commission has determined the retail supply tariff for the year 2017-18 by
order dated 26.08.2017 in the above said O. Ps. While determining the retail supply
tariff, the order reflected certain errors both typographical and phrases, which need to
be corrected.

2. In respect of LT – V Agricultural, the following is added to the order.

Paras 6.3.6 and 8.25

 Category is applicable only for those consumers who undertake
agricultural activity including floriculture.
 The agricultural activities undertaken in green houses / poly-houses
shall also be included in this category.
Paras 6.4.9, 6.9.9, 8.37 and 8.111
In respect of applicability of tariff, construction activities for structures of height
less than 10 meters will fall under LT – II and HT – II, as are relevant.

3. Certain words and phrases occurring in various parts of the order need
corrections and they are shown below.

4. The following words and phrases are occurring in the order at wrong places or
erroneously added are omitted completely.
a) “Floriculture in green house” in Tables 32, 35, 37 and Annexure I (Pg. 144 &
145).
b) “HT – VI: Townships and Residential Colonies” at page 126.
c) “bus stands and attached offices, railway stations” in para 8.98 (d) at page
127.
5. The paragraphs 9.14, 9.15 and 9.16, which were part of the order but did not
find place inadvertently are now shown.

6. The complete text of the order after incorporating the above errors and
omissions is placed on the website of the Commission.

7. Except to the above amendment / changes, the rest of the order dated
26.08.2017 remains unaltered. The DISCOMs of Telangana area are directed
to give effect to the above order along with this amendment / changes.

This order is corrected and signed on this 31st day of August, 2017.
