the said program to en-
hance journalistic skills of
every writer.

Change,” uttered the OIC
School Head of SCIS, Sir
Alvin T. Yalung.
He also appealed
that the journalism is al-
ways a pleasure to the
student writers.

winners will proceed to

House Majority Leader
Rodolfo Farinas has filed a bill asking
permission to create an independent
and organized police force (Philippine
Legislative Police (PLP)) to serve as
the defenders of the Congress and it`s
properties.
The PLP will help strengthen the Congress.
First, it will represent the government`s
willpower to send forward laws it wishes to carry
out regardless of who defies it.
Moreover, the House of Representatives
will now have a body, which will be given the re-
sponsibility of carrying out it1s contempt and ar-
rest orders, rather than the Philippine National
Police.
Lastly, with the PLP having to ability to
coordinate with other enforcement agencies, this
could cite the improvement of the above said
agencies.
The Congress shouldn`t abuse of
these police units assigned to them and
should still monitor what is happening
around their surroundings for any pos-
sible threats.
The PLP will serve as the bright light
for the Congress` improvement and will as-
sign the vanguards f or i ts m emb ers.
