Application Guidelines

1. Go to the Apply online page in the website of the Department under the tab “Admission” or
follow this link: http://bmpt.du.ac.bd/admission/apply-online/
2. Download the application form from the given link.
3. Application fee: Taka 1000/- (Taka one thousand only) (Guidelines for depositing the
application fee are outlined in page 2).
4. Fill up the application form, attach a recent passport size photo and scan the form.
5. Fill up the required fields in the website (See pages 3-5 for guidance).
6. Upload the following (See pages 3-5 for guidance):
a. A scanned copy of the completed Application Form with a recent passport sized photo
attached in .JPG or .PDF format.
b. A scanned copy of the Transcript/ Marksheet of Bachelors Degree in .JPG or .PDF
format.
c. A scanned copy of the bank deposit slip in .JPG or .PDF format.
7. Applicants must preserve the original copies of Application Form and money deposit slip with
them. They must show the original copies on the day of the admission test.
8. The deadline for submission is October 18, 2017 (Wednesday).
9. The applicants will be notified by email if their application forms have been received by the
department.
10. List of the eligible candidates will be notified through the Department website.

 Guidelines for depositing application fee

1. Application fee can be deposited through any online branch of the Agrani Bank Ltd.
2. Application fee must be deposited to the following account:
A/C name: CHAIRMAN, BIOMEDICAL PHYSICS & TECH.
A/C no: 0200000978441
Agrani Bank Ltd. Dhaka University Branch.
3. Please put your mobile number in the money deposit slip. A sample copy of the money deposit
slip is shown below:

 Guidance for applying Online

1. Go to the Apply online page in the website of the Department under the tab “Admission” or
follow this link http://bmpt.du.ac.bd/admission/apply-online/

2. Download the form from the given link.

3. Enter your name as stated in your official certificates.

4. Enter your valid phone number.

5. Enter your valid email address. Your email address is necessary for successful completion of
application and further contacts. Take care in entering your email address.

6. Select the specialization as “Biomedical Engineering”.

7. The uploaded documents should be in .jpg or .pdf format and the size of each of the files should not
exceed 1MB.

8. Upload the necessary documents and upon successful uploading, click Submit Application.

9. You will see this message on successful submission.

10. You will receive a confirmation email regarding your application submission.
