2nd grade students will learn at least half of the words about animals and by doing that they will also
learn how to use ‘like’ and ‘do not like’. They will also start to learn how to use this structure and
animals’ names in their daily life by listening songs, watching videos and doing homework about
them.

themselves without getting any help.
Group Learning Activities They will sing along a son the teacher had chosen
for them.
Summary
The content consists of like and don’t like structure by using animal names. It is the 2ND week and
last week the students learned about animals and their names. By using what they have learned last
week, this week adding the structure of like don’t like they will also improve their abilities to use both
of them. Firstly, the teacher will show the students how to use the structure. The teacher will give
them sample sentences about the structure by using the animals’ names and images. To get
students’ attention more the teacher will open a song which is about the structure with animal
names. After approximately 10 minutes of break, the teacher will show them an infographic and will
want them to form similar sentences. At the end of the class they will watch a video from Kizoa
about the same topic. Before students leave the classroom the teacher will give them an activity for
them to take home and do without getting any help.

Explanation regarding to the implementation of the plan
If anything goes wrong, for example if students don’t want to do the activities the teacher prepared
for them or if some problems about the electricity or computer have occurred there will be a backup
activity. It is going to be a matching activity about drawing a smiling or sad face into the circle and
writing if they like or don’t like the shown animal.
