 INTRODUCTION

Information Printing System is just relevant to any other enrollment System, perhaps this system
exist in other universities or schools already but our system is a newer version, this system is
useful not only for Universities but also in lower levels of education. An accurate and efficient
enrollment records helps to ensure a good impression of the institution on possible enrollees
encouraging them to matriculate in the institution. The purpose of an Information Printing
process is to provide a means for staffs and the faculty to save down data that are essential to
Students. As the Students increase every year, the enrollment procedures become harder and
harder to deal. And some records can be possibly lost. The amount of information that needs to
be write down also increases. This only serves to slower process and confusion among the
staffs and faculty. Also, unexpected problems such as loss of information may occur. A manual
process of Information Printing system takes less time and less effort cause you only print your
records of transaction or information. The unsystematic procedure of school during enrollment is
now dreaded by them. The process would also be burden for those students and parents who
would line-up for hours just to get enrolled and paid. This problem will be eliminated in this
proposed system.The idea behind an Information printed system is not a new concept. As
Students increase every year, enrollment procedures become harder to deal. This will only
serve to increase the problem facing enrollment that provides more easy way in enrolling. It will
help their institution to have another system that will upgrade enrollment processes so as to
meet the quality that their institutions are trying to meet. Today, the use of technology has been
an effective tool on improving such kind of enrollment system. Information Printed system using
LAN will provide the needs in storing information in a faster, more convenient way of storing files
of the enrollees in a computer system. It will lessen the effort of faculty and staff in storing files
of each Student every now and then. This will also serve as information especially for the new
enrollees, transferee, and teacher in able to get access in subject, and Students. This
information here can be viewed just a second without worrying that a single file is lost. And
these system is safe to use and secure.

 STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

Information Printing System must answer the ff. problems:

1. How secure are the data being inputted to the system?

2. How the system generates timely information about the student?

3. How fast the data entered are being processed?

4. Why do we need to re print the students information?

 Scope and Limitations

Scope

The Information Printed system is a prototype for enrollment system, they are closely similar but
this system can also be use in enrollment process. Because this covers the major processes in
the enrollment of freshmen, old, transferee and dropout students, files maintenance such as
listing of enrolled students in different year levels. Administrators have total access to the
system, confirming the students who are currently registering and/or enrolling, generating
records, sectioning the students in every year level. The system gives further information about
the enrollment process as to know how many students are enrolled in every year level. And
save their records if ever they lost the data from the source of enrollment process.

Limitations

The system is not online and does not cover the computation of student’s grades, class
scheduling, viewing of subjects and teachers and paying of fees. Not accepting any online
payments. It can only operate for students who enrolled in the specific university. It can’t show
the schedule of the subject in per year level. And these is not supported by the administrator
yet.

 Use case Scenario

Use Case Name: Information Printing System

Primary Actors : Student

Pre- Condition : Students wants to have a record if ever they lost the data of their records.

Post – Condition : The Students has already Enrolled in NORSU and want a printed output.

Basic Flow Of Events:

1. The login box pops up.

 Username
 Password
2. The login box provides the register option
 Encoder: enter user name, password.
3. Auto login allows student to see both username and password.
4. Student’s can’t view others profile only the Encoder.
5. Student can’t see the recent logged.
