Appendix B: Major ion concentration data for water from supply wells at the Nevada National Security Site,

Nye Count
This is Appendix B in "Paces, J.B., Elliott, P.E., Fenelon, J.M., Laczniak, R.J., and Moreo, M.T., 2012, Transient effects on grou
Site, Nye County, Nevada, 1951-2008: U.S. Geological Survey Scientific Investigations Report 2012-5023, 108 p."

Concentrations of major ions (Na, K, Ca, Mg, SiO 2, bicarbonate alkalinity as HCO3, carbonate alkalinity as CO3, total alkalinity a
wells on the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS) are presented in this Microsoft ® Excel spreadsheet. This spreadsheet is der
maintained in Microsoft® Access and administered by the U.S. Department of Energy’s primary contractor (currently Navarro-In
Excel® spreadsheet), and can be sorted by well name from the pull-down menu at the top of the second column header. Locatio
abundant major ions. All concentrations are given as milligrams of solute per liter of water (mg/L; equivalent to parts per million)

Yellow shaded rows in the "TableMajors" sheet have ionic charge balances greater than 10% caused by one or more missing v
original value reported in Geochem08.mdb that was (1) considered spurious compared to values from other samples, (2) consi
values used to calculate an average reported for a single sample date.
