THE WISH OF LUISA

A long time ago, there was a small village named Tristonia, whose inhabitants were very
poor, so poor, that they barely had enough to eat or to dress. However, despite the poverty,
they were very kind people, who shared everything they had, even sadness.

In fact, the people of that little town were always sad and awaited with impatience the
arrival of the new year, because during that time, the fairy of the poor appeared just at
midnight, to grant a wish to the person who had the most kind heart of all.

In that small town, there lived a sweet girl named Luisa, who got up early every morning to
work the land to get food, and to give it to the poorest of Tristonia. Luisa's lands were not
good, and the poor peasant had to work day and night to get plenty of food.

When the harvest season was over, she distributed what she had obtained among all and in
equal parts, and only a very small portion of the food remained for her. His soul was so
generous, that he felt sorry for all the beings of Tristonia, and he suffered for all the
children who went to bed without eating anything.

Finally, the last day of the year arrived, and everyone waited impatiently for the magical
fairy to appear to grant a wish. When everyone began to get impatient, a light opened in the
sky, and the noble figure of the fairy made its entrance. After looking at all the citizens, he
decided that the wish would be for the good Luisa, and do you know what Luisa asked?

Well more land to cultivate, and thus feed all the children of the city. The people applauded
excitedly, and Luisa could see her wish come true.
THE THREE LITTLE PIGS
There were once 3 little pigs who were brothers and lived in the deepest part of the forest.
They had always lived happily and carefree in that place, but now they were afraid of a
wolf that roamed the area. That is how they decided that it was best to build each one their
own house, which would serve as a refuge if the wolf attacked them.

The first pig was the laziest of the brothers, so he decided to make a simple straw house,
which ended in a very short time. After work he began to collect apples and to bother his
brothers who were still in full slaughter.

Story to read The 3 little pigs The second pig decided that his house was going to be made
of wood, it was stronger than his brother's but it did not take him long to build it. When
finished, he joined his brother in the celebration.

The third pig who was the most hard working, decided that the best thing was to build a
brick house. It would take him almost a day to finish it, but he would be more protected
from the wolf. He even thought about making a chimney for random ears of corn that he
liked so much.

When finally the three houses were finished, the three little pigs celebrated satisfied of the
work done. They laughed and sang without concern - "The wolf will not eat us! He can not
enter!".
The wolf who passed by was insulted by so much insolence and decided to put an end to
the little pigs at once. He took them by surprise and roared loudly and shouted: - "Little
pigs, I'm going to eat them one by one!".

The 3 scared little pigs ran to their houses, passed the latches and thought they were safe
from the wolf. But he had not given up and went to the straw house that the first pig had
built.

- "Open the door for me! Open me or I will blow and the house will break down! "Said the
big bad wolf.

As the piglet did not open, the wolf blew hard and collapsed the straw house without much
effort. The little pig ran as fast as he could to the house of the second brother.

Again the most enraged and hungry wolf warned them:

- "I will blow and blow and this house will also tear down!"

The wolf blew harder than the previous time, until the walls of the wooden house did not
resist and fell. The two little pigs barely managed to escape and reach the brick house that
the third brother had built.

The wolf was really angry and determined to eat the three little pigs, so without even
warning them he started blowing as hard as he could. He blew and blew until he ran out of
strength, but the brick house was very resistant, so his efforts were in vain.

Without intending to surrender, it occurred to him to climb the walls and sneak into the
fireplace. - "What a surprise I will give the piglets", - he thought.

Once on the roof he let himself fall down the chimney, not knowing that the little pigs had
placed a cauldron of boiling water to cook a rich stew of corn. The wolf gave a howl of
pain that was heard throughout the forest, ran out of there and never returned.

The piglets thanked his brother for the hard work he had done. He scolded them for being
so lazy, but they had already learned the lesson so they dedicated themselves to celebrate
the triumph. And that's how they lived happily ever after, each in his own little brick house.
