1.0 Services/Job Description

* 1.1 Services Purpose (Problem Statement):

Periodic Inspection of TK-864 was carried out through third party certified inspector. We need to get the tank repaired as
per API standards to ensure its service for the intended period.

* 1.2 Services Objectives (Solution Statement):

NGL storage capacity is reduced due to Tank’s inspection / repair requirements. By bringing it back in service actual
storage capacity shall be achieved.

* 1.3 Services Scope Details & Deliverables:

1. CIVIL WORK
 To chip out damaged concrete at the outer circumference of tank bottom and repair accordingly as per
 Exterran Recommendations to avoid ingress of water under the tank bottom.
2. WELDING
  To remove old angle iron rafters (8 Nos. Size 2”x2”x 8 Feet) and weld new rafters on tank roof as shown in pics.
 Fabrication of new sump 8 mm thickness shell and bottom. Install newly fabricated sump in to existing sump as
 a double containment.
 Provision of sump draw off valve (2” x 150 # flanged ball valve) outside tank.
3. APPLICATION OF BELZONA / EPOXY PAINT
 Remove existing epoxy paint from the all over the roof top, prepare surface and apply layer of “BELZONA” on rooftop.
 Epoxy application in and out of sump
 Epoxy paint on tank inside and outside tank

NOTE: All material required to complete the job like; cement, sand, bitumen, angle iron, belzona, tools, etc. shall
be arranged by contractor.
Contractor may visit the site prior to submit the quotation to familiarize with the scope.

* 1.4 Out-of-Scope:

1. Work permit shall be provided by Exterran, but contractor shall be required to follow the instructions written in the
Permit to Work.
2. Utility water shall be provided by Exterran.
3. Appropriate work space shall be provided to the contractor.

* 1.5 Acceptance Criteria:

This section defines the minimum requirements for accepting services and/or deliverables. It also describes the criteria
used for acceptance of services.

The Services Contract will be considered a success by its stakeholders if all the steps under para 1.3 are completed safely.

* 1.6 Applicable Standards:

This section defines the standards (internal or external) applicable to the requested services. All deliveries and work
done should comply with the standards defined in this section of the document.

A. Standard Engineering practices.

B. API-650 (Standards for foundation requirements of storage tanks)

* 1.7 Assumptions, Clarifications & Constraints:

a) Contractor shall take all necessary precautions to complete the job satisfactorily as early as possible
b) Contractor shall provide madatory PPEs (Cotton coverall, safety shoes, safety helmet, goggles) for his workers.
(Special PPEs like gas monitors, EBA shall be provided by Exterran if required)

2.0 QHSE Guidelines Specific to the Requested Job/Services:

1. Contractor will be responsible to ensure availabilty of all kinds of Personal Protective Equipment required for
job excution in a sufficient quantity. (Specially Cotton coverall, safety shoes, safety helmet, safety goggles)
2. Contractor shall follow the instructions laid down under JHA Column of the work permit
3. Contractor shall sharedetails of their personnel (Names, CNIC numbers) for security clearance.
4. Contractor shallmaintain the area clean and tidy and leave the worksite clean, debris free after completion of the job
5. All tools and and equipment used for the scope including welding machine and grinders shall
have acceptable fitness status. Moreover, acetylene cylinders used for welding works must have
flash back arrestor.
