Aircraft Industries, a.s. is the only Czech maker of transport aircraft, building on the long-standing tradition of the former company LET Kunovice.
Since 1936 we have produced more than 8000 aircraft of various types. The company’s main product is the two engine, turboprop L 410 aircraft.
The company currently employs about 1000 people. Russian industrial holding UGMK has been the companies’ only owner since August 2013.
Main company activities are
• Development, manufacture, and sales of the turboprop L 410 aircraft
• Service and maintenance of the L 410, spare part sales, aircraft modification and modernisation
• Research and development; subcontracting
• Operating Kunovice’s private international airport and aviation high school

L 410 Aircraft
• Ability to land and to take off on short runways (STOL capabilities)
• Remarkable hot and high performance
• Ability to operate under extreme climatic conditions ranging from ±50°C
• Outstanding versatility with a number of quick change kits
• The most spacious passenger compartment in the commuter category

Aviation High School

• Specialist lessons in all categories of aircraft mechanics
• Ground crew training in accordance with EASA Part 66
• Vocational and A-level courses
• It is possible to gain a licence to carry out technical maintenance on aircraft with all weight categories
• Belongs to the aviation training organisation in accordance with Part 147

Kunovice‘s Private International Airport

• Intended for test flying company aircraft, private planes, and for local aircraft manufacturers
• It has use of a modern check in/out system for passengers
• It provides Air Traffic Services, navigation and meteorological services
• Designed for light and large transport aircraft (for example Boeing 737, Airbus 319) for charter national
and international flights
