Andrew 1. Intro to Financial Math
Requirements:
Paid FBLA state and national dues by March 1st
Be registered in NLC and pay the fees for national conference
States may submit up to 4 entries
each competitor can only compete in one individual and one chapter event
Each competitor must compete in all parts of an event for eligibility
Not allowed to compete in an event more than once unless with special exceptions
Competencies:Basic Math Concepts, Consumer Credit, Data analysis and
Probability, Decimals, Discounts, Percentages, Fractions
Test: 60 Minute objective test
Individual Event
I particularly want to do this event because I am very good at Math. Because of this, I
believe that I will preform very well in this competition and able to do computations
quickly.
Event: Accounting I

school accounting instruction
Competencies: Journalizing; Account Classification; Terminology, Concepts, and Practices; Types
of Ownership; Posting; Income Statement; Balance Sheet; Worksheet; Bank Reconciliation;
Payroll; Depreciation; Manual and Computerized Systems; Ethics
Test: 60 minute Objective test
Individual
This interest me because I want to learn mroe about the specifics of buisness such as
accounting. Preparing for the competition will help me expose to some of the more finer
details about business and prepare me more once I graduate high school.
Event: Computer Problem Solving

Test: 60 minute objective test
Individual
Reasoning: I want to get involved in an competition that allows me to test my skills and
basic knowledge about computers. Learning about this will help me gain a better
understanding of computers that I previously did not have before.
