This facility decompresses image files, and allows Wiring Diagrams to be

displayed.

2- "Interactive" wiring diagrams

by components

The interactive wiring diagrams by components are

suitable for looking up wiring diagrams for
multiplexed vehicles.
Interactivity makes it possible to:
- navigate from one component to another,
following the vehicle's wiring;
- view precisely all the components (connection
diagrams) and their location (layout diagrams).
It facilitates fault finding through a precise view of
common points (e.g. same earth for several components).
For example: a problem of front lights which are not
working may be related to an engine
problem.

The Block Diagram is a simplified operating diagram representing the sen-

sors, computers, actuators and multiplex networks.
The direct power supplies (coming from the battery) are in Red, the earths are
in Bold Black and the multiplex networks are coloured according to the
legend:
— VAN CONFORT — CAN IS — CAN CAR
— CAN CONF — VAN CAR 1 — VAN CAR 2

The main difference with the wiring diagrams by component is the

absence of interactivity: after selecting a function, a schematic diagram
is displayed:

4- Tips
The context-sensitive menu
A right-click on the diagram displays the context-sensitive menu to
access the zoom, component search (by name), and diagram backup and
quality functions.

Keyboard shortcuts

By simultaneously holding down

the key Ctrl and selecting
part of the diagram by means
of the mouse, the part selected
can be enlarged.
Select by clicking on the left
mouse button, and then, without
releasing it, by moving it so as
to show the area to be enlarged
in a rectangle

By simultaneously holding down

the key alt and the left mouse
button, the diagram can be moved
(useful for the zoom function)

To print your selection and the diagram on a single page:

1- Select "Print"
