LIGHTNING PROTECTION SYSTEM

2.0 Earthing & Lightning Protection System

2.1 To supply and install of complete eathing system (less than 5 No 38

Ohm) in accordance to MS IEC 62305(Part 3) by termination
to earth electrode by the used of copper tape , exothermic
welding, lower and upper test point , concrete earth chamber,
copper bonded rod, copper coupling and etc as per drawing
detail

2.2 To supply and install 2-way earth chamber c/w metal closure No 38
box for termination

2.3 To supply and install 25mm x 3mm coppert tape c/w LS 1

exothermic welding for interconnection between earth bar

2.4 To supply and install earthing system using 16mm sq.PVC LS 1

insulated cooper cable , exothermic welding etc for
termination to in lighting pole.

2.5 To supply and install lightning protection system to lighting LS 1

pole using 25mm x 3mm copper tape, exothermic welding etc
bonded to lightning pole base as per drawing and specification

2.6 To supply and install 25mm x 3mm copper tape interlinking LS 1

between streetlight poles connecting to earth rod as per
drawing

2.7 To supply and install 25mm x 3mm cast in column as lightning LS 1

down conductor tied up with rebars as per detail drawing

Testing and Commissioning

2.8 Soil resistivity test 4 pole method c/w report No 10
