1. Course description
This subject follows Communicative Chinese 2 (IAC294) in ASEAN-China Study Program’s
curriculum, Communicative Chinese 3 aims at helping students to further develop listening,
speaking, reading and writing skills with emphasis on conversational patterns and idiomatic
expression used in everyday life.

2. Course requirements
Students are required to review the conversation and memorize the key Chinese characters and
expressions after each class. Students are also required to preview the new lesson before class.

Homework 10% 85-89 B+ 55-59 D+

Quizzes 20% 75-84 B 50-54 D

Midterm 30% 70-74 C+ Below 50 F

Final Exam 30%
