Descriptive Statistics Project

Objectives The project will help students learn to research credible secondary information,
summarize simple research articles, and concisely describe or interpret statistical
data.

Activity Select a research article or news feature containing numeric statistical data.
Summarize the content and statistical data in the article.
(No data or article/feature/research should be alike.)

Specifics a) Two pages only.


b) Use short bond (8.5” x 11” or US Letter. Not A4).
c) Font to use: Calibri (MSWord) or Helvetica (Mac Pages).
d) Margin: 0.7’ all around.
e) Follow the format and content specified below.
