COLLABORATIVE ANALYSIS OF STUDENT PERFORMANCE

ADMINISTRATION DETAILS

It is used to office Staff Details, Lab Staff details who comes to join in our concern. It

contains a Staff Code, Staff, Name, Address, Contact No, Designation and other necessary

details. Add, modify, delete and view the records from the database as possible only by admin

Section. The User only views the staff’s details

DEPARTMENT DETAILS

Department Details displayed department name, department id, number of staff and

available courses under the department. All the information are filled by forms and stored in a

database. Please fill out the complete form and fill out a separate form for each course to be

listed. If you are changing the details of, or deleting a course that is already listed, or wish to

create a new entry with many details the same as an existing one.

STAFF DETAILS

It is used to Enter Staff Details who comes to join in our concern. It contains a Staff

Code, Staff, Name, Address, Contact No, Designation and other necessary details. Add, modify,

delete and view the records from the database as possible only by admin Section. The User only

views the staff details.

STUDENTS DETAILS

It is used to Enter Student Details who comes to join in our college. It contains a Student

Register Number, Name, Address, Qualification, Department of Study and other necessary

details. Add, modify, delete and view the records from the database as possible. The User login
section only views the student’s details. They can’t do Edit and Delete Operations. It can be done

only by admin section or admin login.

MARK DETAILS

In this module the student marks are stored in to the database. The marks are classified by
Internal mark 1, Internal mark 2, Assignment Mark, Semester Mark and overall Total. Hence, if
the parents need updation regarding Marks, So we can forward to them.

ATTENDANCE DETAILS

In this module all the students’ attendance details is maintained. Here the students
attendance and staff attendance maintained in separate table. All these details are stored in a

SMS
Short Message Service (SMS) is a communications protocol allowing the interchange of
short text messages between mobile devices. In this project the mobile will be used to
intermediate between pc and user. In SMS Module have contained Phone Number and then
Message. The PC Reads the message and sends the details of the particular information from
yellow pages database.

2. SYSTEM STUDY

System analysis is a process of gathering the facts oncerning the system breaking them

into elements and relationship between elements.It provides a framework for visualizing the

organizational and environmental factors that operate on a system.The quality of work performed

by a machine is usually uniform, neat and more reliable when compared to doing the same

operations manually.
2.1 EXISTING SYSTEM

In the existing system the billing alone is maintained in FoxPro. The Fees details, the

registration details and the students, staffs details are maintained manually. The study of the

existing system revealed that the system has several drawbacks.

DRAWBACKS

 The existing system has no security measure against logging in and no checks are

made for authorized users.

 The end user has to remember a lot of command to make efficient use of the

system.

 The system does not have any descriptive reports and thus did not help

management in decision-making.

 The registration information per day is unable to find.

 Enormous amount of time is consumed

2.2 PROPOSED SYSTEM

The proposed system is been developed to maintain College Administration to maintain

the Registration details, Students details, Fees details, Marks details, Lab Entry etc.

 The user can enter only if the username and the password are correct.

 The process of planning will be easy since every process is computerized.

 Time Saving.

 Each and every student details are send to their parent via sms

 The details of the all saved information can be viewed.

  The data can be accessed easily whenever needed and so the manual work can be

reduced.
