Demonstratives
We use demonstratives to indicate specific nouns.

Demonstratives
Explanation

‘This’: singular – near the speaker.

‘These’: plural – near the speaker.

‘That’: singular – far from the speaker.

‘Those’: plural – far from the speaker.


Demonstratives
There are two types of demonstratives: demonstrative adjectives /
determiners, and demonstrative pronouns.
