HISTORY OF INDOHUN

Indonesia One Health University Network (INDOHUN) is

a platform where leading academicians, stakeholders,
scientists, communities, and professionals from
Indonesia could transcend provincial and national
borders to address issues of regional and global
c o n c e r n .
VISION AND MISSION
Fostering sustainable trans-disciplinary
capacity building to respond to emerging and re-
emerging infectious and zoonotic diseases and to
improve the people, animals, and ecosystem health
i n I n d o n e s i a .

To leverage the capacity building of the

university network with training, education and
research to build the skills, knowledge and attitude
based on OH concept for OH leaders.

LABORATORY BASIC SUPPLY
Laboratory Budget
- Generate funding from donors through laboratory
collaboration research proposal;
- Identify laboratory needs based on assessment visit result
as consideration for budgeting
Basic supply and reagent
• Assign laboratory staff to attend training in inventory
control, stock management, storage, distribution, and
shipping by following the international standard
• Ensure the quality of equipment as well as its
maintenance
Infrastructure
- Laboratory work space and facilities should support the quality
of work and safety of the laboratory staff and other personnel;
- Mobilize developer consultant for laboratory infrastructure both
national and international.

Equipment
• Mapped out all advance laboratory tools (e.g sequencing tool),
new testing methodologies and instrument to be introduce to the
member, and establish the bio-bank within network that can be
used by all members for cross purpose research studies and
diagnostic

- Conduct routine health check, specific vaccination,
and other program that support employee’s safety

• Risk assessments should be performed by the
employees that most familiar with the specific
characteristics of the organisms being considered for
use, the equipment and procedures to be employed,
animal or human models that may be used, and the
containment equipment and facilities available.
