Event Codes

Event Code No Indication


With battery connected and the key switch (KYS)
ON, the truck does not turn on. Also, ACCESS 2 (if
equipped) power LED is not ON.
Step 1: Turn and hold the key switch (KYS) to the
START position.
• If: ACCESS 1 lights illuminate.
– Then examine the K1 relay connections and cir-
cuit.
• If: ACCESS 1 lights do not illuminate.
– Then go to Step 2.
Step 2: With the key switch (KYS) OFF and the bat-
tery connected, connect a DVOM to TP1 (+) and
BNEG.
• If: 33 to 38 Vdc (36 V truck) or 45 to 52 Vdc (48 V
truck).
– Then go to Step 3.
• If: < 33 to 38 Vdc (36 V truck) or 45 to 52 Vdc (48 V
truck).
– Then examine FU4, the battery condition, and
the wires and connections between the battery
and CA201-1.
Step 3: With key switch (KYS) off and battery con-
nected, connect a DVOM to TP3 (-) and TP1 (+)
