LASSO TOOL
The Lasso Tool creates a custom, free-hand. It is usually used to cut out, ort
select specific sections of a pre-existing picture. Access the Lasso Tool by
clicking on the icon located on the tool bar, or press the keyboard shortcut L.

2. Polygonal Lasso Tool
The Polygonal Lasso Tool exists as a secondary tool to the original lasso tool.
Press shift+L to alternate through the lasso tools until you have the polygonal
lasso tool selected. This tool is great for extracting pieces of photos that have
straight edges or a semi polygonal shape to them.

3. Crop Tool
Use the Crop Tool in Photoshop to crop down an image. Trim away protions of
a photo that you may not particularly like and focus on the section of the
image that you want to highlight. Select the crop tool from the Tool Bar by
pressing C.

4. Healing Brush Tool
The Healing Brush Tool allows you to fix image imperfection such as scratches,
blemishes, etc. by sampling the surrounding area or using a predefined pattern
you can blend the imperfections into the rest of the image.

5. Spot Healing Brush Tool
The spot healing brush is the default healing tool in Photoshop and can be
used to clone areas from an image and blend the pixels from the sampled area
seamlessly with the target area.

6. PATCH TOOL
The Patch Tool is part of the healing brush set of tools. These are the go-to
tools for retouching and repairing your images. The Patch Tool is primarily used
to repair larger areas of an image, or get rid of any distractions or blemishes.

7. CLONE STAMP TOOL
The Clone Stamp Tool paints one part of an image over another part of the
same image or over another part of any open document that has the same
color mode. You can also paint part of one layer over another layer. The Clone
Control Tool is useful for duplicating objects or removing a defect in an image.

8. BACKGROUNG ERASER TOOL
The Eraser Tool changes pixels to either the background color or to
transparent. If you’re working on a backgroung or in a layer with transparency
locked, the pixels change to the background color; otherwise, this pixels are
erased to transparency.

9. MAGIC ERASER TOOL
When you click with the Magic Erase Tool on a particular pixel, similar pixels
will be erased (like magic wand selects similar color). You can click on different

10.Blur Tool
The Blur Tool in Photoshop can be used for both repair and more artistic
endeavors. You can use the Blur Tool to soften a small flaw or part of a rough
edge. You can add a little blur to an element to make it appear as though it
was moving when photographed.
