Re: Hurricane Preparedness

In the event of an evacuation of Currituck or Dare County due to a hurricane you are to
report to the store you live closest to. You should report to store #266 in Corolla. From
there you will be bused to a safe location inland until it is safe to return. Store
Management will alert you in advance if it appears there will be a mandatory evacuation.

There are a few things we ask you to do with your house before you evacuate:

1. Move all outdoor furniture in the house or storage room (not big picnic tables).
2. Lock down any bicycles left behind.
3. Secure the outdoor trash receptacles, by moving them in the house or storage room.
4. Close and lock all windows and doors.
5. Close all blinds over the windows, to prevent glass from going everywhere.
6. Pack all of your belongings and bring them with you when you report to your store.

If you are unable to make it to the store, please call the store and speak to the manager on
