 Performed basic and advanced nursing care procedures with minimal supervision from head

superiors and senior staff like NGT insertion, Atrial Blood Gas extraction, Intravenous Venipuncture
insertion, Intravenous Phlebotomy along with the basics like, vital signs taking on hourly monitoring
basis, intake and output monitoring, x-ray interpretation and laboratory result interpretation in co-
management with the medical heath care team.

 Demonstrated proficiency in taking patient medical histories and vital signs, as well as in performing
venipunctures, injections and various diagnostic procedures and ancillary tests (e.g., EKGs,
immunoassays, chemistry analysis, hematology, urinalysis and sigmoidoscopies).
 Provides patient care as well as education and support to the patient's family. RNs work alongside
the patient's physicians and provide direction to licensed practical nurses and nursing assistants
who work within the unit.
 Assists physician in performing procedures such as catheterization, start intubation, extubation, cut
down, tracheostomy change, subclavian line insertion and etc. Or any procedures that could be
done at bedside
 Acts as patient's advocate in terms and in times of decision making, thus, not making any
affectation on the decision created by the patient and patients significant others. Maintaining the
confidentiality between the nurse and the patient during the course of treatment until the patient
has been discharge and even after or so.

 Ensured the cleanliness, sanitation and maintenance of all facilities, exam rooms and equipment.
 Assists the medical staff (physicians, laboratory technicians, and co-nurses) in performing basic and
advanced health care procedures that promote alleviation to the patient's condition thus helping
improve harmonious and meaningful relationship between co-members of the health care team.

 Aides in helping the physician to let the patients understand the course of the disease, the process,
the affectations, the medical treatment and the course of action that the health team is taking for
them to have an in depth learning and understanding about their ailment.

documentation for patients on cardiac, oncology and medical-surgical floors. Handled medication
administration, dressing changes, IVs and all other aspects of nursing care. Facilitated admissions,
discharges and transfers; prepared chart notes and other documentation; and participated on
interdisciplinary team.
