Success is not final, failure is not fatal it is the courage to continue that counts.
Honorable Managing Director Mr. Ram Basnet sir, Honorable Principle
Madam Sheetal Rana, Administrative In charge Mr. Niraj Bikram Rana sir, Vice Principle Mr. Prashant Rajak sir, TES MUN coordinator Mr. Govinda Gautam sir, all the respected teachers, laborious dais panel, hard-working logistic team, press corps and all my smart delegates, a warm welcome to you all to the closing ceremony of TESMUN 2017. Congratulations! Congratulations to you all the MUNers for the successful accomplishment of Sixth Edition of TES MUN. Dear delegates, I am really happy for the energy you have shown in the two- day session. You guys worked out together to create the future. MUN is one of the best parts of my life. It has helped me to build up my confidence and gave me knowledge about the issues of the world. Secretary General was a big position for me. I got a chance to lead such a big team with dais, logistic, delegates and the press team too. Being honest, I enjoyed being among you, beside you, helping you in my full capacity whenever and wherever possible. It was a matter of great joy to work along the wonderful people like you. Point to be noted to point to be noted of Legislative I, II and III, roar of HRC committee, Aggression of DISEC committee, one on one debate of UNEP committee, banging and evidence of ECOFIN committee are the best part of my MUN experience. The most important thing I have liked about you guys is you never gave up. You have proven that you are capable ones. You can do. I must admit, we can if we want. I believe this session must have a door to next world to many of us especially the delegates. Your active involvement in the discussion session and your personal experiences through the session are your wealth that can never be spent. In Sanskrit there is a popular saying, “Baade Baade tattwa bodhajaayate.” It means the essence of the matter will reveals to you only through discussions. Either it is the east or the west; the great philosophers have focused on the need of having dialogues. I have read in the pages of books that Socrates the greatest teacher of all time in the western world used to talk almost all the time. Another philosophers Aristotle is said to be walking along his garden while talking to his students in Lyceum, the school he opened. So having dialogue is very important if you want to know the world better. Catching up this golden methodology in teaching, we have marked TESMUN. TESMUN 2017 has taught us to debate among each other and neglect nervousness. Hope you can feel the difference and you can continue the tradition in your practical life as well. I would say to you all, “Never be scared and jump off your limits to do the work that is beneficial for the world. A man can see the beautiful view of marine life only when he dares to dive into the sea. Likewise, if you dare and try your best then you will surely succeed. Finally I would like to thank the school management for organizing such a wonderful program. Words are not enough to express my gratitude towards the dais panels who worked their best to motivate their delegates to face the challenges, the creative logistic team who creatively made this MUN fascinating, the press members who worked hard as bees to report about the crisis discussed in the session and finally the delegates who are the heroes of TES MUN 2017. This tradition of debate should live to mould our better future and I am sure the upcoming batches will continue it and expand the horizon. Best of luck to you all for your upcoming journey. THANK YOU!!!!!
