SUBJECT: SECOND MULTISECTORAL PARTNERSHIP BUILDING EVENT

FOR THE CHED K TO 12 SECTORAL ENGAGEMENT GRANTS

As part of the Commission's efforts to promote academe-industry linkages, and as it

endeavors to pursue industry-relevant instruction to address current societal needs, the
Sectoral Engagement Grants was developed through the K to 12 Transition Program.

In 2016, the first Multisectoral Partnership Building Event was hosted by the Commission to
provide an avenue for networking and interaction between the academe, and various
partners from the industry, civil society, and government agencies. On the second year of the
implementation of the Sectoral Engagement Grants, the second Multisectoral Partnership
Building Event will again be sponsored by CHED, this time to foster the relationships created
and to encourage the sharing of experiences and best practices among the different
stakeholders of the SE Grants.

In line with this, the Commission invites all higher education institutions, their personnel, and
representatives from the industry, civil society, and government agencies to the
Multisectoral Partnership Building 2017: Moving Forward with New Possibilities. The
event will be held on 15 September 2017 (Friday) from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Ortigas,
Mandaluyong City. Details on the venue will be provided in the following weeks.

No fees will be collected, but slots are limited and will be provided on a first-coMe,
first-served basis. Those who wish to participate in the event must reserve a slot through
