Explanation
-
Explanation regarding to the implementation of the plan
The teacher greets the class and talks about students’ casual lives for couple of minutes. Then s/he proceeds to
ask questions on tourism in order to initiate class discussion and prompt them to brainstorm for they will
create a mind-map as their first activity. After that, the teacher will show a mind-map that includes the basic
concepts and main features about tourism subject. Teacher plays a video, asks students to take notes and
answer their questions. Divides students to groups of 3, asks them to discuss the video with friends. Finally, the
teacher gives a research homework about a country or city they would like to visit one day.
Lest the electricity cuts occur, instead of the video, the teacher will read aloud the text while the students are
taking notes. The teacher has the copy of his/her own mind-map, if there’s no electricity s/he will draw it by
hand on the board. The teacher also checks and observes students while they’re discussing in small groups and
corrects mistakes if s/he hears one. Answers questions if needed.
