Plan ahead
At the end of the school
year, ALL NEMS students will turn in their
school issued Apple charging brick. They
may keep the charging cord. If the school
issued charging brick has been lost or
broken, the student will be expected to
provide an Apple replacement brick or
will be charged a replacement fee
NEMS night at The Mill
game against Hamilton Southeastern. We are hoping many of
our NEMS families will be in attendance to show our school pride!
The NEMS Show Choir, Vocal Revolution, will be singing the
National Anthem to start the varsity game. We will also be
recognizing some of our outstanding students as “Champions of
Character” between the Junior Varsity and Varsity games.
Our office will be offering pre-sale tickets at a discount for $3.00
per person. Tickets at the gate are $5.00. The Junior Varsity
game will begin at 6:00 followed by the Varsity at 7:30 pm.
School dance February 9
Save the date for the Student Council sponsored 6th & 7th grade
dance on February 9 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm!
*A dance to include 8th grade students from both East and West
middle schools is being planned for later in the school year.
Freshman scheduling/meeting January 17th
Freshman counselors met with 8th grade students last week.
Students received a pink course selection sheet that must be
turned in to their science teachers by Friday, January 19.
Students will be entering their course selections the week of
January 22 during science classes.
8th grade students and their parents/guardians are invited to
attend the Noblesville High School Course Fair on Wednesday,
January 17, from 6:30-8:00 p.m. in the NHS cafeteria. An
important presentation related to course selection and the
transition to high school will be held in the NHS auditorium at
6:30 pm for NEMS families and 7:15 pm for NWMS families.
